WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS: Helping Girls With Gossip, Cliques and Bullying

WHY: To provide practical suggestions for helping girls to develop confidence, assertiveness and the skills needed to cope with difficult peer relationships.
PRESENTER: Orli Avi-Yonah, PhD from the Strong Girls Strong Moms program co-sponsored by the University Center for the Child and Family and the Junior League of Ann Arbor

Your questions will be kept private, and will be sent to the organizers of the workshop so that our speaker can try to address the biggest issues parents are facing now that their daughters are in middle school.

All questions and topics are welcome, but please try to focus on topics that would be of interest to other families as well. Because of the wide range of issues to be addressed, we will not be able to respond to all questions in the workshop.
