What is "scrip"?
"Scrip" refers to certificates (usually gift certificates or gift cards) that stores make available at a discount for fundraising purposes; they are exchangable at their face value for a store's products or services. The most appealing aspect of this fundraiser is that our school earns money without you spending an extra dime; you simply pay for your groceries (or other purchases) differently. You will be able to spend every dollar of scrip you buy at the designated store -- the store will pay our PTO the percentage contribution (5% for grocery stores, from 3-17% at other stores). The percentage that each store contributes to the PTO is listed on the order form below.
Families who have never used scrip often wonder how it will work, or if it will be too much of a hassle. If you are unsure, buy a very small amount the first time; every dollar you spend on scrip will earn money for the school.

Updates
Each year, several merchants offer a higher contribution to the PTO as part of a holiday bonus. These stores are shown with their names highlighted and the special percent return listed.
Hillers shoppers: Please bear with us while we update our system to accomodate the new Hillers rechargeable cards. The cards come with no dollar value on them; you must add value to them at the store. This confuses our current system, so we have assigned a price of $0.01 to each card so that the order form will track it correctly. If you pay by check, please feel free to leave off the one penny. If you pay by credit card, we hope you will view the extra penny as a small contribution to the PTO.
If a Hiller's card is the only thing you are ordering, please don't follow the link to pay by credit card at the end! (No payment is necessary, but we will record your order for a Hiller's card.) Thanks!
